Assistant Project Manager (JFK)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Under moderate supervision assists with overall management administration to large scale, complex project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies
  2. Employee receives moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by supervisor
  3. Employee organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training
  4. Employee handles some unusual situations independently
  5. Interacts with Superintendents to address project questions/issues
  6. May be engaged in hiring subcontractors, monitoring change orders, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, negotiating solutions to major issues raised during construction that cannot be resolved on the job site at the Superintendent level, ordering removal of employees or dismissal of subs
  7. May interface with design team
  8. May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software
  9. Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, provides assistance and reporting on all facets of the project to ensure all facets are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture
  2. 4+ years of relevant experience
  3. Aviation and/or PANYNJ experience is required
  4. Must be willing to work at JFK International Airport

Compensation is commensurate on qualifications and experience and is between $110,000 – $160,000
