Haydan Consultants, Inc. is looking to hire construction Inspectors.
As a Construction Inspector, the applicant must possess excellent communication and team building skills and the ability to work independently, collaboratively, with full transparency, as required by the client/project.
To inspect construction work to ensure conformance with contract documents and all applicable codes and standards.
Work includes preparation of daily narrative reports, time and material records, review requests for additional compensation, preparation of descriptions/reasons/estimates for change orders, verification of work in place quantities for contractor payment applications, coordination of construction work with facility operations and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
8+ years’ experience in reviewing and interpreting infrastructure plans and details, performing inspections, documenting conditions, reporting results, issuing nonconformance reports as needed and following up on issues to resolution.
Experience on major transportation/infrastructure projects for public agencies, such as PANYNJ, MTA/NYCT, NJ Transit, NYCDDC, NYCSCA is preferred.
Excellent Organizational and communication skills required.
Salary: $50.00/Hr. – $65.00/Hr.
