Haydan Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Project Management Information System (PMIS) Developer to join our New York, NY office in support of the NYC Borough-Based Jail (BBJ) Program.
Responsibilities:
As a PMIS Developer, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the in-house PMIS for the
BBJ Program. This role requires not only strong technical expertise but also excellent communication
and collaboration skills. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring full
transparency and responsiveness to Client/Project requirements. The successful candidate will be
accountable for developing, coding, troubleshooting, and reviewing system functionality while also
supporting end-users and program stakeholders.
• Provide first- and second-level user support by resolving PMIS-related tickets, troubleshooting
issues, and ensuring timely resolution
• Perform backend development tasks such as database cleanups, module list view optimization,
and performance monitoring.
• Support the lead developer with system enhancements, feature updates, and custom module
configuration
• Assist in preparing and executing test cases, performing functional testing, and validating system
behavior to ensure stability, accuracy, and alignment with program specifications
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials; coordinate
and deliver user training sessions as system features evolve
• Collaborate with program teams to translate business needs into functional and technical
requirements, ensuring PMIS tools meet program controls and reporting standards
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Angular, Node js, and TypeScript
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a strong focus on end-user experience
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, or
a related field - 5+ years of experience in technical support, systems analysis, or development, preferably in a
PMIS or project-based environment
Rate: $50/Hr.
