Haydan provides support to the AECOM-Hill Joint Venture Construction Management team (CMT) on environmental matters for the Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens projects of the Department of Design and Construction’s Borough Based Jails Program. Environmental services performed include field oversight for the removal of 100,000 tons of impacted soil, review and evaluation of site data, hazardous materials reports, UST removal plans, Phase I and Phase II site assessments, investigation and monitoring plans and remediation specifications. Haydan also provides internal assessment of outside proposals to ensure the scope of work and costs are reasonable and necessary and supports the CMT with investigation and evaluation of impacted media including PCB’s, VOC’s, SVOC’s, metals and other contaminants.
